This Sunday morning, Pastor Bill Monroe continued our series Revelation: Know What’s Next with a message from Revelation 13 titled “The Two Beasts and the Final Empire.”
Revelation 13 introduces what Pastor called the “trinity of evil”: Satan, the beast out of the sea, and the false prophet. These are not cartoon images or mythical creatures, but prophetic pictures of real end-time personalities and powers that will rise in opposition to God. Pastor walked us through Revelation 13, Daniel 2, and Daniel 7 to show how the Bible interprets itself and how the final world empire will come under satanic influence before being destroyed by Jesus Christ.
But the message was not given to make us speculate or fear. Pastor reminded us plainly: we are not looking for the Antichrist — we are looking for Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ is still the greatest news this world has ever heard. Jesus shed His blood for sinners, and today is the day to receive Him.
