In this Mother’s Day message, Pastor Bill Monroe reminded the church that the family is not a human invention but a Divine institution established by God Himself. Beginning in Genesis and moving through the New Testament, the message emphasized that marriage is the foundation of the family and that the home is where faith, morals, responsibility, and Biblical truth are passed from one generation to the next.

Using 2 Timothy 1:5 as the central text, Pastor Monroe highlighted the influence of Timothy’s mother and grandmother in shaping his faith. He warned that America’s rejection of the Biblical view of marriage and family has produced confusion, instability, and cultural decline.

The sermon also addressed the dangers of elevating family above God, reminding believers that Christ must remain first. While the family is vital, it functions properly only when it is submitted to the authority of God and ordered according to Biblical principles.

The message concluded with a challenge for Christian homes to become testimonies of Christ to both children and the surrounding community by faithfully living out Biblical truth.
