“Today is a great day for America! The Supreme Court struck down the wicked Roe v. Wade ruling of 50 years ago which permitted the killing of over 60 million unborn children in their mother’s wombs. Many of us have spent almost all our adult lives praying and working for this day. Roe v. Wade was bad law from the beginning. The liberal justices ignored the clear wording of the Constitution regarding the “right to life,” while using some of the most convoluted logic imaginable to find a constitutional right for a woman to extinguish the life of her child. Today’s decision will not end abortion in America but throws the decision for abortion back to each state. No doubt, liberal states will continue allowing abortions. I am so grateful our legislators passed the “Heartbeat Bill” which now becomes law in S.C.
We’ve not had many victories this big so I want to give God the glory for this one.
Also, thanks to all of you FBT members who have worked, prayed, marched, written letters advocated for life and supported me in this fight for so long. It was worth it and it’s a Great Day in S.C. Let us thank God.”
