The Seven-Sealed Book — Revelation 5
In this message from Revelation 5, Pastor Bill Monroe’s Revelation series reaches chapter five, where we are now in the throne room of God. The focus of heaven shifts to a scroll sealed with seven seals—the title deed of the universe.
No man in heaven or earth is worthy to open it, and John weeps—until heaven announces that the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed. The Lamb who was slain alone is worthy to take the book and loose its seals.
This message explains the biblical meaning of redemption in its full scope—past, present, and future:
- Redemption of the soul through the blood of Christ
- Redemption of the body in the resurrection
- Redemption of all creation from the bondage of corruption
Drawing from Revelation 5, Leviticus 25, Romans 8, and 2 Corinthians 5, Pastor Monroe shows that the breaking of the seals marks the beginning of God reclaiming His creation and defeating Satan’s dominion.
This is a message of hope, assurance, and glory—reminding us that even in a dark world, our future is secure in Christ.
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain.”
