Anyone interested in Choir who is not currently a part of the program is invited to attend a rehearsal to find out more about their opportunities. You do not have to be an accomplished soloist or be able to read music to join the choir. However, you must be able to sing on pitch. In addition, you must be a member of Florence Baptist Temple or in the process of becoming a member. There is no audition required for membership in the Choir and we provide loving childcare during rehearsal times.
The Choir is a large group with a warm, accepting, family atmosphere where you can experience inspirational worship as well as encouragement and prayer support. The Choir rehearses Sunday afternoons at 4:15.
If you play an instrument, there is probably a place for you in our Orchestra. To be a member of the Orchestra one must possess a basic level of proficiency and possess a Godly attitude toward ministry. A basic level of proficiency refers to two years playing experience or current participation in instrumental instruction and being able to play in tune. The Orchestra rehearses Sunday afternoons at 4:15.
Living Christmas Tree
1994, Florence Baptist Temple has presented an exciting musical Living
The program is filled with the sights and sounds of Christmas celebrating the Savior’s birth.
Youth & Children’s Choir
We believe strongly that children and youth can serve the Lord even at young ages!
Music is one of the ways they do this. Every Wednesday night in our midweek service, the Youth Choir & Children’s Choir sing prior to Pastor’s Bible Study. Learning treasured Christian hymns helps these young people know eternal truths about the Lord. Contact Mike Coker for information about the Youth Choir and Megan Kendall about the Children’s Choir program.
